'The First Taste of Winter' is 12 by 18 inches and is signed by the artist.
Young children put nearly everything in their mouth and in this painting the young girl is experiencing her first taste of snow. I wanted to capture that feeling of a cold day contrasting against the warm cuddly soft clothes and also that sense of uncertainty in the child's eyes as she put the cold snow to her mouth.
In addition to the original painting, a number of high quality print options are available:
A limited edition of 80 prints, each hand signed by the artist and supplied with a custom designed certificate of authenticity. Available in a choice of sizes; 12x18, 16x23, 20x29 (Approximate printed sizes in inches, paper is usually bigger to allow for easy mounting).
Open edition giclee prints sized 8.5 by 11 inches and are hand signed.
Both open and limited edition prints are printed on high quality velvet fine art paper using archival quality ink.
Shipping - please read!
Our intention is to charge shipping at cost, however the shopping cart we are using doesn’t cater for this. The shipping charges you see when you add an item to the cart are appropriate for a single item to Canada and the USA. If you order multiple items it is likely that we can ship for less than the cumulative price the cart will calculate - we will refund the difference. On the other hand, if you are ordering from outside Canada/USA the shipping may be more than indicated. If so, we will need to contact you with the additional cost. Obviously you may decline if you wish, in which case we will refund your order in full.
